This week we celebrated Oliver's 6-month birthday. We're halfway to him being a year old and so much development will happen between now and then. It's very exciting to anticipate him crawling and walking!
It's amazing how fast the time flies. He's hitting so many milestones already. He has a tooth and can sit up unassisted. He'll grab toys from me and then throw them down to the side to listen to the sound they make. He really enjoys listening to his music class CD.
Matilda is also growing and learning. She can now unbutton her coat buttons; something she could not do 2 months ago. I'm eager for it to warm up more so she can practice riding her tricycle. She didn't quite master it this past fall.
We have a second "nanny" starting this week. A local, retired school teacher is going to come in for a few hours a week to help with Oliver so that I can have some uninterrupted academic time with Matilda. I'm excited to get back to work with her in a more focused setting. She seems to have forgotten a lot of her letter sounds so I will start with that in combination with lower case letter recognition.
Below you will find pictures from this past week. On Sun-Tues we were in Greenville, SC so there are some fun pictures from the trip.
